Section titled “Entity Identification: Andromalius”- Entity ID: ent_ars_goetia_andromalius
- Classification: Euclid
- Threat Level: 5
- Alignment: Neutral
- Origin: The Lesser Key of Solomon (Ars Goetia)
- Rank: 72nd Spirit / Earl of Hell
Description
Section titled “Description”Andromalius is a high-ranking entity manifesting within the Ars Goetia framework. Visually, he is often depicted as a man holding a serpent in his hand. Beyond his classical iconography, he serves as an metaphysical auditor for both physical and moral transgressions. He possesses an uncanny ability to traverse the veil to track lost, stolen, or misplaced items, ensuring their return to the rightful owner.
More critically, his mandate involves the exposure of “wickedness and underhanded dealings.” He acts as a spiritual investigator, capable of unmasking hidden agendas, clandestine betrayals, and systemic corruption within a target individual or social structure.
- Core Competencies:
- Property Retrieval: Exact tracking of displaced material goods.
- Truth Exposure: Piercing the veil of deception to reveal clandestine motives.
- Retribution: Administering punitive measures upon those found guilty of theft or dishonesty.
Behavioral Logic
Section titled “Behavioral Logic”When the entity is triggered or summoned within a localized field, the following parameters must be maintained:
- Codex Adherence: The entity operates strictly within the esoteric physical and metaphysical laws dictated by the Ars Goetia tradition.
- Containment Perimeter: A standard警戒 (vigilance) radius of 50 meters is strictly enforced. Any unauthorized personnel entering this radius risk exposure to the entity’s truth-seeking influence.
- Audit Protocol: Interactions must be recorded. Andromalius is known to manifest psychological pressure on those harboring significant secrets.
Modern Anomaly Adaptation
Section titled “Modern Anomaly Adaptation”In the context of the contemporary anomalous world, Andromalius has been proposed as a candidate for “Automated Moral Containment.”
“While his classical duties were limited to the recovery of purses and the catching of petty thieves, his modern application suggests a potential for ‘Data Retrieval.’ If Andromalius can track a stolen object, could he not theoretically track a lost encryption key or an erased digital fingerprint?” — Lead Archivist Note
Current Status: No formal SCP-Foundation style containment breach has been recorded to date. Researchers are encouraged to contribute findings regarding Andromalius’s interactions with modern surveillance technology or digital databases.
Further investigation required: Are his punitive actions lethal, or purely psychological?
