1. Description (档案概述)
Section titled “1. Description (档案概述)”The Naga are a class of semi-divine, serpentine entities that permeate human folklore across the globe, most notably in South and Southeast Asian traditions. While often depicted as hooded cobras, these beings possess the ability to shapeshift, oscillating between a fully serpentine form, a hybrid human-serpent state, and, under specific atmospheric conditions, a near-perfect human guise.
“To look into the eyes of a Naga is not to see a beast, but to peer into the liquid history of the earth itself. They are the keepers of the deep waters and the hidden jewels of the underworld.” — Excerpts from the Field Journals of Archivist V. Thorne.
2. Behavioral Logic (行为逻辑)
Section titled “2. Behavioral Logic (行为逻辑)”When the entity enters an active state, the following protocols and observations are enforced:
- Physicality: Entities must adhere to the fundamental physical and occult laws established by the Global Nexus. Gravity manipulation is common in older specimens.
- Proximity Protocol: Maintain a standard 警戒范围 (警戒范围) of 50 meters. Breaching this radius without appropriate containment shielding often results in mild hallucinogenic exposure.
- Environmental Interaction: Naga are intrinsically linked to hydration zones. They favor environments with high humidity, subterranean aquifers, or undisturbed ancient architecture.
3. Modern Anomaly Adaptation (现代异常收容改编)
Section titled “3. Modern Anomaly Adaptation (现代异常收容改编)”In the current epoch, the Naga have largely retreated into the “Veil,” existing in pockets of reality that overlap with human infrastructure.
- Surveillance: Any reports of “giant cobras” in urban drainage systems or mysterious, localized flooding must be cross-referenced with regional seismic activity.
- Containment: Currently, the Foundation maintains a passive observation status. Direct physical containment is considered high-risk due to the entities’ ability to dissolve into water vapor.
Researcher’s Note:
Section titled “Researcher’s Note:”There is a notable absence of formal containment documentation within the standard SCP archives for the Naga. It is hypothesized that their “Neutral” alignment is a mask for a more complex, long-game agenda regarding the preservation of subterranean ley lines.
Archival Status: Under active investigation. Researchers are encouraged to submit logs regarding encounters in non-traditional environments (e.g., modern data centers or high-altitude reservoirs).
