Entity Record: Furcas (ent_ars_goetia_furcas)

Section titled “Entity Record: Furcas (ent_ars_goetia_furcas)”
  • Entity Name: Furcas
  • Origin: The Lesser Key of Solomon (Ars Goetia)
  • Alignment: Neutral
  • Containment Class: Euclid
  • Threat Level: 5
  • Rank: 50th Spirit / Knight
  • Category: Occult Entity / Class-V Manifestation

Furcas manifests as a cruel and venerable elder, typically appearing in the form of a wizened man with a long, white beard, mounted atop a pale horse. While his outward appearance suggests fragility, his presence carries a significant localized disruption in cognitive processing and ambient thermal energy.

The entity is classified as a “High-Instructional Manifestation,” specializing in the dissemination of complex esoteric and academic disciplines:

  • Philosophical Pedagogy: Transmits advanced metaphysical frameworks.
  • Astrological Mapping: Can predict celestial alignments with near-perfect accuracy.
  • Logic & Rhetoric: Capable of manipulating dialectics to persuade or confuse subjects.
  • Chiromancy & Pyromancy: Advanced proficiency in palmistry and fire-based divination rituals.

Per the current Repository Guidelines for Goetic Entities, the following parameters are strictly enforced when Furcas is detected in an active state:

  1. Lawful Adherence: All interactions must respect the underlying physical and metaphysical laws established by the Ars Goetia compendium. Unauthorized rituals in his vicinity risk a “Logical Feedback Loop.”
  2. Containment Perimeter: A foundational警戒 (Alert) zone of 50 meters is required. Any unauthorized civilian within this radius risks exposure to “Cognitive Dilution”—a state where the victim’s logic is overwritten by the entity’s rhetoric.

“Unlike the more volatile spirits of the Goetia, Furcas does not seek to destroy; he seeks to educate—often to the point of madness. In a modern digital environment, his influence has been observed in ‘corrupted’ AI data sets, where specific algorithms begin to output unnervingly accurate, albeit occult-heavy, responses.”

Researcher Note: There is no current SCP-Foundation designated containment protocol for Furcas. However, field reports suggest that keeping digital servers shielded from spontaneous pyromancy-induced thermal spikes is essential when archiving Goetic data clusters.
