Description
Section titled “Description”The Qilin (麒麟) is a highly rare, chimerical entity of immense spiritual potency. Historical records from the Classic of Mountains and Seas (海内经) describe a creature of regal, yet intimidating physiology.
- Appearance: Often documented as having the body of a Milu (Père David’s deer), the tail of an ox, the hooves of a horse, and covered in shimmering, dragon-like fish scales. It possesses a singular, fleshy horn (or sometimes two), which serves as a conduit for its auspicious aura.
- Nature: Classified as a Ren Shou (Benevolent Beast) and Rui Shou (Auspicious Beast). It is an entity of moral gravity; it is said that the beast possesses the ability to distinguish the righteous from the wicked at a single glance.
Behavioral Logic

- Physical/Occult Law: The entity exists in a state of suspended manifestation. It does not interact with the material plane unless specific criteria regarding the ruler’s virtue or geopolitical stability are met.
