Physical Architecture & Biological Profile

Section titled “Physical Architecture & Biological Profile”

The entity designated “Nemesis” represents the pinnacle of Umbrella Corporation’s bio-engineering efforts. Unlike standard mindless undead, the Nemesis-T Type is governed by the NE-α Type parasite, which effectively replaces the host’s original brain and nervous system, granting the creature heightened intelligence and tactical reasoning.

“The staple-work on its face is not mere aesthetic cruelty; it is the physical evidence of the parasite’s invasive reconstruction of the cranial cavity.” — Lead Researcher, File 09-B

  • Morphology: Standing at approximately 2.3 meters, the entity exhibits extreme muscular hypertrophy. Its epidermal layers are constantly necrotizing, requiring a restrictive black leather “power limiter” coat to suppress uncontrolled mutation.
  • Combat Specialization: The entity is proficient in the operation of heavy ordinance, specifically the M66 rocket launcher and customized Gatling weaponry.
  • Regenerative Potential: Upon receipt of lethal trauma, the entity undergoes rapid, uncontrollable cellular mutation, typically resulting in the exposure of raw, pulsing musculature and the proliferation of prehensile, acidic tentacles.

The entity is hard-coded with a singular, overriding command: Eliminate all S.T.A.R.S. personnel. It does not tire, it does not negotiate, and it possesses a singular, gutteral vocalization: “S.T.A.R.S…”

  1. Environmental Awareness: The entity maintains an active patrol radius of 50 meters. If a target is acquired, the entity will initiate a “Persistent Pursuit” protocol until the target is liquidated or the entity is incapacitated.
  2. Engagement Rules: Any personnel encountering a suspected Nemesis-class entity must maintain a minimum distance of 100 meters. Standard firearms are ineffective; high-yield incendiary or explosive ordnance is required for temporary suppression.

In the context of the contemporary Anomalous Research Division, Nemesis represents a dangerous crossover between biological engineering and rogue memetic programming.

While currently localized to the Resident Evil narrative framework, recent intelligence suggests the NE-α parasite may be adaptable to other hosts. Current research focus remains on:

  • The Stability of the NE-α Parasite: Determining if the entity can be “re-programmed” for containment rather than liquidation.
  • Containment Breach Risks: If the entity were to be transposed into a modern urban setting, its ability to utilize human infrastructure and heavy weaponry poses a ZK-Class Reality Failure scenario.

Archivist Note: If you hear the heavy thud of boots and the mechanical click of a launcher in your vicinity—do not wait for further protocol. Initiate immediate extraction.
