Description
Section titled “Description”Sallos is a formidable Duke within the Ars Goetia infernal hierarchy. Unlike entities driven by destruction or malice, Sallos specializes in the manipulation of human emotional spectrums, specifically the arousal of desire.
- Primary Abilities: The entity exerts a profound metaphysical influence on the human psyche, specifically inducing intense, often uncontrollable feelings of love between men and women.
- Manifestation: Historical accounts describe Sallos appearing as a gallant soldier, riding a crocodile, and wearing a ducal coronet. However, current archival consensus suggests that in modern, non-ritualistic environments, the entity operates less as a physical manifestation and more as a localized psychic contagion.
Behavioral Logic & Containment Protocols
Section titled “Behavioral Logic & Containment Protocols”[System Rule] When the entity is in an active state, all operatives must adhere to the following:
- Ritualistic Compliance: Operators must observe the fundamental physical and occult laws dictated by the Ars Goetia. Failure to maintain established protection sigils results in a total loss of emotional sovereignty.
- Containment Perimeter: A base警戒 (Alert) zone of 50 meters must be maintained at all times. Any personnel experiencing unexplained spikes in interpersonal attraction or romantic obsession within this zone are to be rotated out immediately for psychological screening.
Modern Anomaly Adaptation
Section titled “Modern Anomaly Adaptation”Research Note: There are currently no formalized SCP containment protocols assigned to Sallos, as the entity functions primarily through memetic influence rather than physical breach.
“Sallos does not break walls; he breaks the barriers between people. In an era of digital hyper-connectivity, the risk profile for a ‘Duke of Love’ has shifted from localized ritual disturbance to potential mass-scale psychological dissonance. Further study is required to determine if the entity has adapted to social media algorithms.” — Archivist Note, Level 4 Clearance
Call for Documentation: Researchers are invited to submit case studies regarding Sallos’s potential modern-day influence on digital dating platforms and parasocial human interactions.
