Section titled “Phenomenological Profile”The entities colloquially known as Nightgaunts (or the Faceless Flyers) are predatory entities originating from the non-Euclidean geography of the Dreamlands. Their existence defies conventional biological taxonomy, manifesting as cold, obsidian-skinned bipeds.
- Morphology: Humanoid silhouette, completely devoid of facial features—lacking eyes, nose, or mouth.
- Appendages: Equipped with leathery, inward-curving bat wings capable of silent, high-altitude navigation.
- Tactile Signature: They possess curved, iron-hard horns and long, barbed tails. Their skin is described as disturbingly smooth, akin to polished volcanic glass or deep-sea dermis.

- Fundamental Law: All interactions must account for the fluid nature of Dreamland physics. Reality-anchor stability is recommended.
- Proximity Protocol: The established警戒范围 (警戒范围) is 50 meters. Breaching this perimeter during a manifestation event often results in forced transport to subterranean Dreamland caverns.
- Subjugation Methodology: Unlike traditional predators, Nightgaunts utilize a bizarre, sensory-overload method of capture. They utilize their clawed fingers to “tickle” victims into a state of paralyzed, hysterical submission, rendering them incapable of resistance during transit.
Modern Anomaly Adaptation (Containment Addendum)

- Research Note: There is currently no active SCP-style containment protocol for Nightgaunts. Their ability to phase between the waking world and the Dreamlands renders standard physical holding cells ineffective.
