Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Ghast represents a foundational class of entities dispersed across global occult datasets. Unlike localized folklore spirits, the Ghast exhibits characteristics of a cross-dimensional vestige—an entity that occupies the periphery of physical space, often tethering itself to zones of high metaphysical entropy or historical trauma.
“The Ghast does not hunt in the conventional sense. It exists within the static of the reality-membrane, feeding not on biological matter, but on the localized breakdown of physical laws.” — Archivist Notes, File #402
Behavioral Logic
Section titled “Behavioral Logic”When the Ghast enters an active state, researchers are advised to observe the following parameters, as derived from the primary system rules:
- Law Adherence: The entity must strictly obey the established physical and occult metaphysical laws dictated by the Global framework. Any deviation from these laws suggests an external corruption of the entity.
- Perimeter Integrity: The base警戒 (警戒) range is established at 50 meters. Any personnel entering this radius risk psycho-temporal displacement.
Modern Anomaly Adaptation
Section titled “Modern Anomaly Adaptation”In the context of the Unified Anomaly Foundation, the Ghast is currently undergoing classification for modern containment.
- Current Status: Uncontained / Under Observation.
- Proposed Containment Protocol: Deployment of localized Reality Anchors (Type-G) is suggested to maintain the entity’s coherence and prevent phase-shifting into densely populated sectors.
- Notes: Research personnel are encouraged to cross-reference the Ghast’s spectral signature with recent seismic anomalies reported in subterranean urban areas.
Known Variations
Section titled “Known Variations”While the term “Ghast” is used globally, local iterations have surfaced in various deep-lore databases:
- Sub-Level Ghasts: Tend to manifest in high-moisture environments.
- Void-Touched Ghasts: Entities that have moved beyond the “Neutral” alignment into a state of semi-hostile expansion.
