Entity File: Bune (The 26th Spirit of the Ars Goetia)

  • Classification: Euclid
  • Threat Level: 5 (High)
  • Alignment: Neutral
  • Origin: The Lesser Key of Solomon (Ars Goetia)
  • Category: Entity / Infernal Hierarchy
  • Rank: Duke (Grand Duke)

Bune (also historically documented as Bime) manifests as a composite entity. The primary form observed during active summonings is a three-headed dragon: the central head resembles a human, while the flanking heads are those of a dog and a griffin. Its speech is described as remarkably resonant and eloquent, betraying a level of intelligence that defies standard non-human classification.

“He changes the place of the dead; and putteth spirits that be under him together upon their graves.” — The Ars Goetia

Bune functions as a bridge between the material plane and the post-mortem state. Archivists should note the following anomalous capabilities:

  • Necromantic Displacement: The ability to relocate the remains of deceased entities or their associated spectral residues.
  • Eloquent Transmutation: Grants the subject the ability to speak with profound wisdom and persuasive clarity.
  • Economic Augmentation: Historically linked to the sudden, often inexplicable acquisition of wealth and prestige.

Under the constraints of the Ars Goetia protocols, the following system rules apply when Bune is active:

  1. Law of Correspondence: All interactions must strictly adhere to established occult geometries and established Goetic harmonic frequencies. Deviation often results in cognitive dissonance for the practitioner.
  2. Containment Perimeter: A minimum 50-meter radius is required for all active observation. Any entity within this radius during a manifestation event is subject to potential psychotropic influence.

In the context of the contemporary anomalous landscape, Bune has been theorized to exist as a “data-ghost” or information-broker entity. Researchers suggest that the “relocation of the dead” may correspond to the archival movement of sensitive, deleted, or “dead” digital data within the deep web.

Current Status: Uncontained. Note: Researchers looking to interface with Bune must ensure the environment is stripped of all unauthorized digital signatures, as the entity has shown a propensity for “nesting” in server hardware.
